Disgusting behavior tonight by Jalen Carter. And to cap it off he laughed at himself. Most people in most jobs get fired for that kind of stuff. I hope he gets suspended for a long time.

agreed. Absolutely no call for that. Total disregard for his team/teammates. how many millions of kids saw that last night? Its not ok. They should make an example of him.

Heading to PSU tomorrow. what i thought was going to be a nice day, looks like i continue my streak of rain games

Most spots picked up some much-needed rainfall last night. Amounts ranged between as little as .09" at the Nottingham to as much as 0.90" at Glenmoore. We have the chance at some more rain and storms with a strong cold frontal passage tomorrow into Sunday. Today and tomorrow look like our last chance to touch the 80's for a while with higher humidity to add to the summer feel to the days. We turn much chillier again by Sunday with temperatures by Monday struggling to escape the 60's for highs across the higher ridges in the area. Overnight low temperatures will again reach the 40's in many spots by early next week.

If he were any dumber, you’d have to water him twice a week.

Glad you posted this, because 2 wrongs dont make a right.

Dak absolutely played a part in this.  Carter has apologized to team, and I hope he learns from his stupid mistake.  Gut says Sirriani tore a piece outta his big butt after the game.  Hope so.  If the league really wants to clean up, then clean up in every corner and look into all of it.  Part of me says trash talk is part of the game.  Also vids out showing Dallas punchin our guy right in the helmet w/ no yellow parachute flyin.  We can go on and on and on about all of it, or just define whats acceptable and stay consistent.  The taunting call on our defense for flexin muscles...ridiculous.

Ugly W is still a W.

Happy weekend all.

Correct. My original post had emotion as I hate to see someone from a local team cross boundaries. There was a lot going on and my comment shouldn't have been so one-sided.

There's been ongoing debate for years on the role that athletes play when it comes to visible behavior. Some don't like the idea of being a role model. Well, much like my 3 year old granddaughter watches and listens to every move and word that Pappy makes, athletes likewise are viewed under the same lens. Like it not, a whole lot of kids of all ages have Carter jerseys that they wear and behavior such as last night's tarnishes the image for many.

Yep. But also what the heck is Carter doing damn near in the Dallas huddle. He was still the worst actor here in my eyes but just dumbness all the way around. Such a stupid way to start a game.

All good TT.  No need to explain.  We could see right through your angst and know your style.

Agreed, and great points.  They SHOULD be held to a higher standard as peeps spend time and lots of money to watch their "role models" compete, but at the intensity of pro sports, the adrenaline is not something most of us armchair qb's can understand and appreciate.  As a former competitive athlete for many years (racing motocross/mtnbike/road bikes), I can tell you that even at notably lower levels, when the juices are flowin through the veins, it is easy to get caught up in a less than stellar moment.  I'm sure you understand my perspective.  In no way do I condone stupidity, but were all capable.  Just trying to see it through their lens a bit.

Happy weekend all.

The entirety of next week looks nothing short of spectacular. After that, a bone extended to our warm weather lovers.

Behind Saturday's cold front, winds will turn northwesterly and usher a much cooler, drier and less humid air mass into the mid-Atlantic States on Sunday. Skies should clear by the mid-to-late morning hours, and the rest of the day will turn out mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the mid 70s for most. A refreshing, 8-16 mph breeze out of Canada will cause dewpoints to tumble into the mid-to-upper 40s by late Sunday afternoon or evening, as well (see below). Needless to say, the weather during the second half of the weekend is shaping up to be absolutely spectacular and perfect for outdoor activities. Better yet, a sprawling high pressure system of Canadian origin will settle into the Commonwealth by Monday and then hold its ground across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic States through the rest of the week. That means Sunday's autumnal air mass will be sticking around from Monday-Friday and perhaps even through the following weekend.

The large-scale subsidence, or sinking motion, associated with the high pressure system will thwart both clouds and precipitation, so skies should be mainly clear during most if not all of next week. Humidity will also remain very low with dewpoints no higher than the low-to-mid 50s. The combination of light winds, dry air and clear skies will promote efficient, radiational cooling at night, so low temperatures should bottom out in the chilly mid-to-upper 40s on 4 consecutive mornings (Monday-Thursday). They may hold in the low 50s in downtown York, Lancaster and Harrisburg each night, but that will still be perfect for sleeping with the windows wide open and turning off the A.C. Afternoons will be pleasantly cool with highs in the low-to-mid 70s from Monday-Wednesday and upper 70s to low 80s on Thursday. A weak cold front may slide southward through the Commonwealth on Thursday night, but there won't be a drop of rain associated with it. Instead, the front will simply bring a reinforcing shot of cooler air into the region next weekend with highs on Saturday and Sunday similar or identical to Monday-Wednesday. Don't be fooled by the persistently cool weather, though! There are signs that a significant warmup could occur during the third week of September with perhaps one last run at a 90-degree day or two. One thing's for sure.. after tomorrow, I have no idea when measurable rain will fall again. Then again, that's not abnormal in the absence of tropical activity during the month of September. Lather on the sunscreen and "enjoy the calm!"
