Thanks to some connections in the league, we played at Boston College and managed to get 2.5 innings in before home plate and the pitching area became a quagmire. (Outfield is turf, so no issues there.) Everyone had fun though and got at least one at-bat, but it would have been nice to be able to finish the game now since the rain has pretty much stopped.

I'm sure the girls must have been excited. BC is a good neighbor. Used to do a lot for my travel and AAU teams. Did you play on the field behind Alumni near the reservoir ? Do you usually play at Cold springs Park? Played many a game there...

So we lost the clouds overhead and replaced them with ones in the bottom 30 feet.
kdxken
Last post got me to thinking, how long have we been at this? At least 20 years. 2006 was the only time I ever met Kevin and Tip. It was in Brookline at a national weather service conference on the 2005 thunder snow. I remember having to leave early to go to one of my daughter's games. I actually shared a computer with Kevin and no punches were exchanged. Time passes quickly... 4

Sure, it’s not as bad as that episode of 1-3sm we all had last summer (or two summers ago?)… but it was an extremely noticeable haze all day obscuring the mountains. 1

That was 2 summers ago but there’s new fires breaking out daily up there I read . This will last much of summer depending on wind flow
