Looks like it could be an interesting afternoon accross a good portion of the SE. Someone is going to get nailed with widespread 90° temps and dews in the 60s, no doubt. Figuring out where these MCS’s go is always such a crap shoot though. It’s been fun to watch the HRRR swing entire regions every few runs. if anyone wants some chuckles, the NAM has cape about 4,000 for a chunk of the Carolina’s tomorrow. Yea i think theres "somewhat" of a debate as to whether it's gonna be just strong pop up storms or if it's gonna end up being an entire line coming through, just based on reading different FB posts. Regardless, im sure storms will hit uptown charlotte right at 7pm Saturday as I'll be at the bananas game lol. 1
gtg947h
Sigh. I could really use a few days in a row with good clear skies and light wind, especially in the morning.
eyewall
After a month on a road trip I am hoping to catch some storms today. I missed the good ones in NC in the last few weeks.

What it has been though is HUMID!
kvegas-wx
This 7 day forecast blows chunks!! I must somehow convince myself that these are just the early stages of our first named winter storm of the year. We're laying the groundwork. Calling those ducks to the pond. And I pray it rains enough to kill all my grass. Because I'm going on 3 weeks with no mow and I cant even cut it anymore. Just got back from Chicago. Weather sucked there too. What do we feel about bowling weather? Time to join a league??
Upstate Tiger
Had to mow my grass for the 2nd time in a week. Never want to complain about rain though and it has held the temps down. Mosquitos are at plague level. Looks like we may hit 90 next weekend. Good news is after next Saturday it gets darker earlier everyday until Christmas.

And/or a career field with limited relocation options. Yeah, it's my own fault (should have been a civil engineer like Mom suggested), but I'm quite envious of those who can move to just about any small city or metro area and have multiple employment options. I've been looking for jobs around Atlanta for a year with no success...

Dew points in the 60's would be very nice right now. Try dew points near 80.
Occluded Front
3 of the 12 months my body hates to see come around June-July-August I get sunburned just doing my job, metal burned from car exterior, hand burns from steering wheel, back of the leg seat burn from leather seat when wearing shorts, have to hydrate way more than I care to and pee more than I need to. Only positive thing, heat makes me eat less so I will shed a pound or two.
Upstate Tiger
As we wait for our impending heat wave to develop over the weekend, the latest ENSO forecast is out. Looks to stay neutral into the fall. Overall forecast still showing neutral to last into January (48%) but weak Nina has increased (41%) for late fall early next year. https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/lanina/enso_evolution-status-fcsts-web.pdf
