Blue Moon
I thought we were done but we've got another quick burst of precip, this time all snow. IP has cut into our totals. I'd say we have about 1".
Ericjcrash
Defintely more T-snow incoming just south of Oswego. Dang.

CNY_WX
Not a solid band but it’s coming down pretty good in the yellow returns.
DeltaT13
Looks like the upstream connections are just now finally starting to lock in. Orleans county lighting up a bit in those last few frames. Might be some surprises overnight. It looks pretty damn healthy upstream.
DeltaT13
Finally ran out of space on here (again). It’s silly that we have to delete those files. Completely ruins this forum from being a really nice weather archive as all the old posts reference pics and data that is no longer there. I’d gladly pay a fee to just have a couple GBs of space on here.
TugHillMatt
Snowing nicely here. From looking at radar, my guess is we will get about 2 inches here by the time it passes through.
Syrmax
Light snow downtown Syracuse. It's either that or covid coming down. Hard to tell.
Blue Moon
I believe we are done here in Oswego. Not too bad! This met my expectations for tonight. We would have had more if we didn't have so much graupel, but it is what it is. All told, we picked up about 1.5" of IP/snow and had some thundersnow action too. Syrmax
Streets covered downtown SYR. Snowing Bigly.
TugHillMatt
About an inch and a half in an hour and 15 minutes. More forming upstream, but it's going to be a close call on whether it impacts the Syracuse area or misses us to the west.
CNY_WX
About 2 3/4 inches here so far. New activity offshore of Oswego, it will be interesting to see how far west it will moves.

Syrmax
Just got home. Not even an inch. Almost not worth measuring. Fake Effect strikes again. Typical. I'll be waiting for synoptic something. An Alberta Clipper delivers more than Fake Effect.

It looks like it might be a shorter band though, so we shall see...

Fortunately I was at a friends in syracuse and got to see an inch of snow there. Now we wait till January.

It's amazing how in a place that averages 130 inches of snowfall a year, that lake effect is irritating. I think it's because there's either a super-narrow band that dumps, but you get missed by it a few miles....or it's the multi-cellular "inch here, inch there" stuff. Not many impressive snowfalls. Anyways, the band is looking like it's consolidating and intensifying a bit more on a more traditional WNW flow aimed right toward us.

It's garbage other than on W flow east.of L.O. up in homeless, toothless people land. Erie at least dumps where people live on various flow direcrions.
CNY_WX
Finally back in some snow but the band is collapsing south right along I81. At the same time it is building back in western Oswego county. I’m not expecting much but I only need a quarter for an inch to reach 3 inches. The temperature has dropped all evening currently sitting at 28 degrees.
rochesterdave
Finally got our first dusting in Irondequoit. Only a quarter of an inch. But it was my first snowfall.
rochesterdave
BTW, EPS is now significantly colder for early/mid December. LR is a joke. I don’t know why I bother with it. But anyway, maybe our Torch December ends up cold.
