Feels weird looking at WGAL's forecast no longer having any skin in that game.

I am now at the mercy of... Joe Murgo...

Shid.

He just did his wintercast the other day that I just watched through. Top three analogs, 05-06, 08-09, 11-12 with 05-06 being the strongest. Calling for the cold December like most and meh the rest of the winter. It’s a 20 min video, he starts into the actual forecast part at about the 16 min mark lol.

12Z GFS keeps the same ole going through the whole run.  Short term troughs drop in every now and then but the timing of them coincides with Colds fronts trailing off lows that cut way to our west.  The general UL flow continues to revert back to coming from the South West allowing the cutter parade to continue.   There are some balls of energy rotating through the S/E US but they never come close to phasing with the primary Northern Stream.

We need a big one 6 days out to then cut to our west! :D

In case you are having a bad day, I did see the Icon is still pimping that early next week chance.   Looking at the Icon is sort of like parsing over some nooners ensemble variances in the vein of a possible alternate outcome.
