I've got a measurable snowcover this a.m. Total of just under 2" including what fell and melted yday.  Not quite enough for 80" total for the season.  I'll have to wait for the May snows to roll thru for that.  ;)

I think the snow year ends on June 30 so anything that falls in July won’t count for this year.

Hellacious drive to work this morning.

Frozen road surface with an inch of powder on top.

More cars off our road into the ditch than I have ever seen at one time.

I think our town has already removed plows and spreaders from their trucks because I don't see them out.

And also there was no residual salt.  That is an often overlooked fact by drivers,  whether it be a long period of time between snowfall events or the 1st snow of the season.

That's disappointing but maybe it will enable an early start to the 2021-22 snow season and we can manage to break 90" again, like back in the Halcyon days of yore. ;)

awesome rates. full blown winter in late April.

The big difference is that it’s already 36 degrees and the snow is starting to melt. It will be gone by the end of the day, maybe sooner if the sun comes out.
