The covid thread is better with Jaws in it.

It’s terrible. We all know where the people who post incessantly in it stand. I think earlier on, it represented more of the 80/20 divide in the country.

Now it’s just everything must be reacted to all the time. It’s a useless thread for communicating.

It was good for a while but we’re going in circles now. Nobody is convincing anyone. I’m ready for sports talk again.

Mac n' Cheese

With the Mac n' cheese I actually use 14oz, of macaroni. When you only use 12oz. there is a lot of sauce so unless you truly like more of a saucy dish add the extra 2oz. of pasta.

Thank you! :)

You’re right. It’d be a shame to lose all my annual profits to a wrongful reap suit.

Let me ask you this...you think I can repurpose some of my Lye supply for that?

Hmmmm, that may just work, if you have sufficient extra next year!  Give it a whirl!

Oh, and I'm sure you have plenty of bespectacled legal minds ready to assist you in the event of such frivolous lawsuits!

Apparently there is an actor/rapper named Orlando Brown (who had a role in the Disney show "That's so Raven"), and he says some outlandish shiit on the reg. The Ravens Orlando Brown then gets dragged for it on Twitter. Gotta love Social media.

I only go to Twitter for some sports and weather stuff, and mostly its what I see posted by others. I don't have a Twitter account. I rarely logon to FB in recent years. No use for it at all. I need to deactivate my account.

If you care about such things, just deactivating the account still leaves your personal information available. So there is the potential for others to use that information in a harmful way or to even create a Fake account impersonating yourself. Need to do other things to get that information deleted and then there is still a question as to whether it is actually getting deleted.

Yeah I will have to look into properly killing it. So much data mining, there is really nowhere to "hide" anymore lol.

About all you can do at this point is try to limit your exposure somewhat. Pretty much done as much as I can in regards to past accounts but i make it a point to really think over joining something when they start requiring personal information. There has been many a site that I really wanted to join that I basically nixed when they starting wanting more then just basic personal information.

My email has become littered with crap from different sites again lately, so I need to nuke that. I get lazy with managing the junk, but it gets overwhelming if you don't.

Same here. Amazing how everything is now so interconnected that just doing a simple search on something results in e-mails coming in targeting this search. Just something as clicking on an ad link within a site does this as well. Still trying to figure our what I clicked on that initiated tons of e-mails for older Asian women available for companionship. And no, I don't visit porn sites.

Finished my outdoor portable pitcher's mound except for the rubber . I might just install a piece of pvc white trim board for a temporary rubber since it'll be a while before I get one .

For a kid? Not sure how long it is but it doesn't look like that would have accommodated my stride when I pitched.

And maybe you should put a deep patch of dirt in front of where the rubber will go? That was one of my favorite things as a kid. Digging a deep hole there. Made me feel like a professional. :)

Its 8 foot . Plenty for a adult. I'm 6'1" or so and its plenty trust me.  I plan on using for lessons some day and for me ofcourse :D. I'm in my mid 40s but I can still throw pretty hard . I tore up the last wooden bat league I played in 2 falls ago . And many are in their 30s in that particular league . But I trained very hard before I played year and half ago and I was also a very hard thrower when I was young . Much harder for a position player especially outfielders to play into there 40s hitting throwing and running . Either way it's hard on the body at this age . I can usually throw just an inning or 2 .

Between my back stride and then push forward I probably would have pushed that 8 ft. Couldn't do it now though. Last time I tried throwing I blew my shoulder out at a carnival. Not that I trust their radar guns but it was only registering 65-70. Kind of embarrassing actually. In my prime I was pushing 90 mph.

How fast can you still bring it?

My old college teammate who played with me in the wooden bat league thinks I was throwing around 80 or so . Plenty hard enough when the average is 70 -75 in those over 30 leagues . Another difference is I had chronic elbow problems from age 17- 22 which I probably needed tommy John surgery but didnt get it . I hid it well but scouts and colleges new something was up because I was only pitching an inning of relief here and there when I used to be a starting pitcher throwing many innings. I Still was able to get a full ride at Catonsville CC and then a Independent minor league team took a chance on me but ultimately the injury  caught up with me . But now years later I no longer have that pain which is another reason i can throw as well as i can at my age .

New project. Taking an unused book shelf and going to Fallout 76 it. Husband works at Bethesda Game Studios and we have turned our downstairs into a game room. Already did a Nuka Cola coffee table.
