Winds are wild. We never get big gusts here but it has them even on the northern edge of it.

You’ve been ground zero this summer with several legit severe storms . Main show is you east /NE today

Hopefully not much worse. Thing came in with wind like I've never seen before and I have tree branches and limbs to clean up. Tossed a 200+lbs grill over. Three straight afternoons/nights of thunderstorms.

What about today?  SPC has a slight hashing over the region -  ... I see a lot of heat and rich theta-e but beyond those implications to SBCAPE I don't know, just mentioning -

It’s all east. CT done

not entirely...I'd watch southern CT and eastern CT through the afternoon.

I have a good view to the east.  I don't see anything remarkable for storm structure though.  Just a lot of lightning!

Debating on sticking around Branford...I think we should see development across southern CT within the next 30-60 minutes

I think so...looking across N NJ into SE NY there is activity down there. Like you said...notable CU to my west

It looks like the ORH bound cells are in process of consolidating into a line. Which will likely enhance the straight line wind threat on and into Eastern mass.

There are also cells trailing the line near Longmeadow. I wonder if that becomes the southern extent and sweeps down through Rev Kev's hood?
