I used to live in Cornwall with 200' elevation. It was torture! lol. Those towns that are right along the Hudson average a good 5-10" less than surrounding areas

Yeah that's often the case...I'm a mile away from it and probably struggle to reach 40" the majority of winters while most areas even to the south get much more.

Yeah that was one of the years where 287 was a typical cutoff from the good stuff.
