Anybody know anything about roof strength? I moved here from the south just after Snowmageddon and have never experienced a foot of snow. House is solid, built in the 50s but a fairly shallow roof slope (ranch style house). Anything I should keep an eye on if we do get the "boom" solution upwards of 2-3'?

hey radio show peeps:  not all of us got .7" yesterday.  some of us got none.

 

I know,...I was referencing how all of us in DC/ARL/ALEX got over 1" and somehow DCA only reported 0.7"....Makes me nervous that they will blow the big one...

Pretty safe to say that if a roof didn't collapse in Feb 2010 it won't this weekend. Unless the gfs is correct.

I only got 17 inches in 2/10... That is mega conservative for what has been shown

I hope they don't blow it...but there were also some great points about how crappy a spot that is for snow accumulation.
