Anyone else notice a SE bias with coastal lows on the new parallel Euro?

It seems like all the major coastal storms are skewed too far SE and the

OP has been doing much better. I really hope they fix this problem before

the new parallel goes operational. Or could it be a problem with the way

Wxbell is generating the maps?

I'm not sure if it's a SE bias or a "wrong bias" (re:coastals) like the NAM has but it's pretty disconcerting. It's the best model with respect to forecasting 500 mb heights in the northern hemisphere but with coastals in our area it's been pretty bad so far.

Upton precipitation page is permanently down. Something happened and there working on a fix I do believe. As per facebook comment answered by them earlier.

I think the Blizzard seems to of broken it.

Thanks.  Yes, it wasn't anticipated that 6bits of memory would be needed to store snow totals, but we went over 32.  Sorry, comp sci joke..

Maybe tonight's event starts the process of evening out those totals. Eastern areas sometimes win in February.

Good to see you posting...

Nice to see you W.R.  You really can't go against the Canadien at 18z / 12 hours before the onset of the event...so someone on the Island should break the 6 inch barrier...maybe even 8 if the cold moves in fast.  The ground is warm; so it has to come down hard to stick on the roads.

How did you during the blizzard out there?

Fell midway between the 2/8/13 event with its 25.5 and the 1/27/15 event and its 18.0"....got about 22.0" on this last one.  That's three *very* big snowstorms in four years...and more in the last 16 than I can even recall.  This was the most boring of the three...the '13 one had the incredible 5 inch an hour stuff after the sun went down...and the '15 one had the wall of 4 inch an hour snow come in from the east after 2 AM...this one was very blasé.
