Weathergun
Sea-breezes have pushed inland over NYC and NE NJ. TEB dropped to 90. The 12z 4km NAM did have the sea-breezes pushing back after 4pm. So it possible temps could rebound briefly:

Guest Patrick
It was sickening to watch an MSNBC affiliate on air yesterday telling people to "get in their cars and head south" just ten minutes before the twisters jogged south and struck the Oklahoma City burbs. He was such a disaster... With the general public now all expecting an EF5 with every severe thunderstorm, you have to wonder how many in the NYC metro area are going to get in their cars when they hear thunder tomorrow. Terrible combination of lack of personal responsibility, media hype, and sensationalistic journalists focused on getting the ratings instead of saving lives. How about highlight the tens of thousands of people that were saved because they found an underground shelter instead of the few lucky ones who managed to get out despite or before a traffic jam. sorry, banter rant over. beautiful day out there today.
