Post mortem report on last night:

Temp spiked to 34.3* at 2:40a.m.

Ripping winds which were not part of the franklin county forecast came through. Peak gust coincided with that high temp 34mph.

Really neat to hear the ice that had accreted breaking. Sounded like Christmas tree ornamanets dropping from a tree and shattering..

Currently 30.7/25

That was pretty dramatic. The sounds of ice hitting the roof and breaking like glass, priceless.

When you work outside within the public, driving a fairly large vehicle, the excess snow is a major disaster. I personally am hoping for warm and wet conditions, however I also understand the weenie POV as well. Yesterday driving around downtown Hudson, MA for ex, noticed cars couldn't pass each other on Main St/route 62. Took 15 min to go 1/4 mile. Lots of mirrors taken off too (Not by me!!) :)

Instafreeze around 7 Am this morning, dropping dews and 34 degree temp flash froze the driveway and walks, paths I built for the dogs are a skating rink, just got done piling snow on the paths, pretty funny, the little ones on top of the snow retrieving small branches which fell overnight sliding on top of the snow like mini polar bears.

TAUNTON TSTM 48 46 93 S7 29.25F FOG

NEW BEDFORD HVY RAIN 50 48 93 S18G25 29.28F FOG

U all laughed when I said 50....

did anyone besides the good rev laugh?

we went back and forth about temps getting to 50. or actaully he didn't think SE coastal ct would push over 40. ???

i was a bit suprised at the extent of icing at my casa from around 646 to 12 last nite. very sneaky ice. noticed it abated a few miles to my east.

He is just pissed I would not bet him Joe, me thinks you win your bet. I would go for some Harpoon 12% at 8 dollars a bottle. Lots of snow gone from my roof which I like, the yard pack is solid ice but underneath is still the fluff stuff.

Have a great day Steve, off to knock out a cord of CHERRY, my fav wood to burn, or work with, great day for some choppin'
