  1. I love this place. It's full of weirdos (interesting people) and deep thinkers. There's all walks of life here. The one thing we all share is that we're different then probably 95% of the population. We're gifted with a very deep connection to nature. We're a group of unique fokes and the conversations reflect that. Our Mid Atlantic fourm is the funniest on the board imo. This place cracks me up all the time. Welcome back, Bob! Great to see your doing well and finding peace. Gorgeous place!
  2. Low of 30 here. Greenhouse did well. 74/55
  3. Radar is impressive for AA County and most of the area. Looks like a couple more inches possibly overnight. I'm thinking about camping in my greenhouse lol.
  4. I was thinking that too. It's definitely the last morning with any fall color.
  5. Everyone is always colder then my lowland location. It's like 38 here lol
  6. No smoke here. Well.. never mind lol. That front sure did clear the humidity and moisture. Humidity dropping into the 40's here and wind is clearing the trees off finally. I got full sun on my greenhouse now that the trees are bare.
  7. I'm going to hold off on raking my leaves. I'll just wait for my brush fire to sweep through.
  8. Another warm November day with the greenhouse wide open. No signs of smoke here.. well not until later at least lol. The low humidity has been great for keeping the greenhouse humidity in check.
  9. It got colder then forecast again last night. Got down to 28 here.
  10. I don't think we hit freezing here in the lowlands. I didn't notice any ice. Warming up more then expected. Not sure the temp bit it feels near 60 and the sky is clear. I'd pay money for a 40 mph wind gust is clear off these trees. We've had no wind for a while.
  11. I was wondering that too. I bet it is. I see reports of big wet flakes out to the west of there in higher elevations. I bet it's snowing on the top of south mountain and the Catoctins.
  12. Cloudy, chilly and damp. This is the Nov weather I remember as a kid. 48 with light rain. Greenhouse: Sunny (500 watts LED) breezy, temperature is 72 and humidity steady at 52%. Nice place to have morning coffee.
  13. I'm dialing in the greenhouse so I do get drops below 40%. I aim for about 50-55%. Drying 60/60. Humidity and temp. I was commenting on how good it felt having a low humidity. Right now humidity is 53. Feels like a spring day lol
  14. Not with blooming cannabis. During veg growth, yes. During flower it's important to keep humidity low to prevent mold and to simulate fall.
  15. Beautiful sitting out in my 64 square foot greenhouse. 74 with a humidity of 38%. This weather has been easy on the electric bill. 57 outside with clearing sky.
  16. Looks like 70% of members say we wear shorts again this year for Thanksgiving.
  17. Swwww... didn't think it was going to get this cold. Surprised to see 31 here in the lowland forest this morning. Greenhouse is a beautiful 75 degrees with a humidity down at 44.
  18. Man.. I had to dial it in hard. I had condensation running down the roof last evening when I cranked it up. Humidity was 70%. The plants are pretty large and breathing really well. I had to crank up my dehumidifier to high but I've managed to stabilize it to 72 with a Humidity of 50%. I'm in week one of flower so I'm going to aim at 50-60% Humidity until late flower when I run 50% or less and lower temps at night to about 60. That brings out the color and terps. This greenhouse is new and I'm playing with getting dialed in before they transition into bloom.
  19. I ran my propane heat in my greenhouse last night for the first time. I went in at 7am to check it and it was 86 lol. I'll save that for colder nights. Got down to about 30 here in the wooded area I live.
  20. That's what I was thinking lol. Looks pretty dry for the next 10 days at least. Temperatures look pretty normal. I can live with average.
  21. Ahhhh.. back home to my shitty climo in AA county lol. I do stay in Hagerstown two days a week because my company has a large contract washing commercial vehicles (tractor trailers) there. I get to drive over the blue ridge and short part of the Catoctins. It's awesome driving through the different microclimates in this gorgeous state. I've experienced some interesting weather over the past 9 months doing this. I'm looking forward to winter. Anyway, cold out there. Already 38 degrees. I just switched from electricity to propane heat in my greenhouse. It's 82 with a humidity of 62% in there. My plants live better then a lot of people do lol
  22. Sunny and 82 this morning in my greenhouse. Foggy, cool and damp outside. Everyone needs a greenhouse. They are amazing for mental health. Well.. what's growing inside also helps lol
  23. I took my plants out of my greenhouse is enjoy some direct sun and 20 minutes later it got cloudy.
  24. Sounds and feels like a spring morning here in the forest of AA County.
  25. I was thinking the same thing this morning. I feel like recent Octobers have been hot and dry. This has been a beautiful October. Hopefully we'll get some of those fresh powder blue bird mornings this winter that I remember as a kid. I remember going to bed with snow in the forecast, sneaking to the living room window during the night and seeing it dumping. Then wake up to dark blue sky and 8-12" on the ground.
