  1. Friday night isn't long range. We have a good idea what it's doing. Models are converging on it going into Minnesota. That's a goner I'm afraid. As far as the LR. That's as reliable as the woolly worm lol
  2. So, the weekend storm is flurries followed by drizzle and the cold pattern is 4 days slightly below average ahead of the next cutter. I'm starting to lose hope in the LR nonsense.
  3. It's a goner. Then another cutter then cold/dry.
  4. Where are the clouds? Did the rainstorm vanish?
  5. Sunny warm day here. Another fantastic forecast.
  6. What a surprise. Everything shifted NW of AA country. That never happens. I'll enjoy my cold rain today while I wait for summer to start this weekend.
  7. Ummm.. it's been bad runs since before Christmas. Anyway. Looks like I can plant my cover crop I didn't have time to plant in the fall.
  8. Justin Berk says winter arrives this weekend and looks cold for mid January. I stop paying attention to him years ago but find him hilarious.
  9. They close it for a little puddle. Closing it is just a way to waste our tax money. I live a mile from the puddle.
  10. Since we can't get winter anymore around here I'm hoping to at least get a thunderstorm to go with my spring weather.
  11. It will. Book it. Heat and shit patterns are always sniffed out early and hold steady.
  12. So we're punting January again this year is what you mean. I'm starting to get use to non winters. I just hope I get my 1 week of winter at some point this winter.
  13. Another wet morning. Have yet to see a flake so far. I was hoping this morning would be it. Nope, life in AA county.
  14. Ahh.. winter in the mid Atlantic. Cold rain
  15. I'm stocked with firewood and ready for this cold front tomorrow night. Epstein didn't kill himself
  16. Good news is that seasonal forecasting is as accurate as the woolly worm dark patch.
  17. I guess you missed the Nov 11, 1987 thundersnow storm that dropped over a foot.
  18. Frosty morning here in AA country. I had to scrape my windshield this morning. Temp 32 in my yard. First night of the season running my woodstove.
  19. Honestly I can't even remember the year. It was a line of storms that I remember causing lots of tree damage from AA county to where my aunt lived in PG county. It may of not even been widespread. So I really only remember one solid event. We all know what that was. That was probably a 75 year event.
  20. I've seen widespread severe twice in the 41 years of my life in this area. It happens less the 25" snowstorms.
  21. So, wedges followed by possible flurries in the mountains and cold temps in central MD. Got it.
  22. Looks good for us fokes east of DC. I want this radar in 2 months. It would probably be 33 and rain instead lol.
  23. About 1.50" in my garden rain gauge. I've had almost 2" since Sunday. Keep it coming!
  24. Not sure how much I got but it was a soaker. Some heavy showers trained right over central AA country. Great fall day. I left the house at 5am and headed out crabbing. It was nice picking crabs while the rained poured down outside.
  25. Looks like I get a 5 minute shower then back to dry dusty for the foreseeable future. AA and PG counties seem to be the bullseye of this impressive drought. I hope we don't get some crappy warm dry winter this season.
