  1. Get one on a tripod. I've got 2 going in my garden. Looking like some seriously dry weather incoming after we fail today and Tomorrow.
  2. Any prospects for rain? I don't bother with severe around here. Widespread severe has happened like twice in the 41 years of my life.
  3. Glad I set my sprinklers up last night. I know how these stormy days end up this time of year. I didn't want to be out there setting up sprinklers for my corn in this heat and humidity. Cloudy, humid and increasingly dry.
  4. I've got a batch of corn that broke the surface in 5 days. Usually takes 7. Must be good seed bursting weather.
  5. I think i heard thunder once and it's almost June.
  6. I saw the forecast yesterday for a possibility rainy week. I immediately set up my sprinklers and positioned them for a heavy watering week. Im not new here. Another foggy ugly morning with temps in 60's. Looks pretty socked in. I doubt we see sun today.
  7. I know, right. Just another cloudy, damn and shitty morning. It looked like it me a decent morning at around 7. Then the fog and mist rolled in right on time.
  8. Yup. Perfect weather today to get everything buttoned up in the garden before the heat kicks in. I'll be doing a solid day of garden work today. Enjoy
  9. I've been noticing that also. My potato crop is doing fantastic this year due to light frosts and cool temps. The cold only caused a tiny bit of leaf damage but killed off any pest like potato beetles, mites ect that give me issues normally. I've got twelve, 45' rows this year. My first round of sweet corn has been up for about a week. The day i planted the seed was only 50 degrees. That was a first. I'm planting second batch tomorrow. It's been a slow start for tomatoes, cucumbers, squash ect.
  10. Heavenly morning for the garden. Warm and sunny after almost an inch of rain overnight. Seeds will be sprouting with temps near 80 today.
  11. Another typical November day. Cloudy, cool and shitty once again. It's been the same temperature for 7 solid months. Never seen anything like it.
  12. I rather have the 3-6" of rain then another cloudy boring week with low 60's and drizzle. Cloudy, 60 with drizzle
  13. 71 degrees with a nice breeze. Perfect evening for some high grade legal weed on the patio and a little fire in the fire pit.
  14. Oh wow. I see that. Looks like a possible soaker on the way. The grass and garden will be happy.
  15. This reminds me of winter when we're supposed to get a week of cold and snow chances. Then it ends up one cold day followed by 45 and rain for a week. Back to the 7 month November next week.
  16. Yeah. My point and click now has more of the same after a couple warm days. Low 60's and shi**y starting Saturday and lasting most of next week.
  17. Temp dropped pretty fast until midnight. I made it to 34 before it stalled then slowly started rising after midnight. I was happy to see that. I was starting to worry about serious damage to my potato crop. Up to 41 now.
  18. I just can't wait to catch some god damn crabs. F**k this pattern. Water isn't getting any warmer when it's 35 degrees at night.
  19. Nice stormy evening here in AA county. Pouring rain with waves of lightning and loud thunder. I've always loved nights like this.
  20. Who's the clown? Could a moderator please remove the troll. Thanks
  21. Fedex has but they are just little bs mask. Cheapest possible of course. We wear them in the facility but once we're on the road we don't need them. I put mine on only when inside buildings. I tell people to stay away from me when I'm in residential neighborhoods.
  22. I guess contact tracing doesn't matter when you're just a peasant that works in a FedEx facility with over 200. At least 30 that were exposed to someone that tested positive 7 days ago. Nope. Not a peep from the CDC or lord Hogan. Business as usual Monday morning. Hopefully we don't get a big outbreak this week the the processing plants have. I hope you fokes appreciate the people delivering your stuff. We're risking our asses to get it out there.
  23. I hope these N95 mask are as good as I hear. The FedEx facility i work at has its first confirmed case. It was only a matter of time when over 200 people work in one building. He was there last Saturday working with myself and about 75 other people. I didn't have contact with him at all but I clock in the same room as everyone else. The "lockdown" didn't effect FedEx or any of the big box companies. The dangerous places are the flower store or the homebrew supply shop. Walmart and Home Depot are totally fine. Working in a huge facility with a confirmed case is also fine.
