  1. Past hour
  2. Earth regulates with the heat budget you give it. You can balance your home budget whether you make 50k a year or 500k a year. The Earth is simply getting a bigger heat budget so it will regulate itself at a higher temp level.
  3. If the sun keeps peeking through on occasion I may get to an hour of sunlight cumulative for the weekend. Glad to see some spotty showers popping up… maybe I can get a trace and get that streak to five days of precipitation. Getting warm out there too, broke 60 for a bit with a high of 62 so far! 60 now that the sun is behind clouds again. What a weather weekend…
  4. Yesterday was sunny at the beach. Today is overcast. the literal opposite of the forecast
  5. Travel team or LL? Got him by less than a half step. Looks like the base runner has the same Bruce Bolt gloves my son has..
  6. Nobody is rooting for you. You’re a complete douchebag. This area is lucky you moved.
  7. You've been saying it was coming for nearly 3 months...one of these centuries you will be right...
  8. Made it to 62, now falling back under increasingly cloudy skies. Hope we break out later this afternoon.
  9. I saw this pop-up and was wondering why. This is usually reserved for when it's actually warm and people underestimate the potential for cold water shock.
  10. yeah he's daydrinking or something. heater upcoming

  13. Cloudy windy and freezing now
  14. It was shaping up to be a perfect day.
  15. Low of 49. Currently 65 heading into the noon hour. Simply spectacular.
  16. Partly to mostly cloudy now here.
  17. Today
  18. Was just looking over my solar production data and it's been pretty terrible here. Some sites up up in NNE have had like zero solar production. May 2023 was a record month.
  19. The tiny silkworms are doing a number on one particular species of Oaks here this year. Pieces of leaves everywhere and tiny balls of poop on everything. At least there’s that .
  20. Tomorrow we will be much nicer than folks to our NE. Our clouds today are theirs tomorrow
  21. For the city and Long Island, the peak is likely around 105-110. JFK hit 104 in July 1966 and 103 in July 2011. LGA hit 107 in July 1966 and 104 in July 2011 (as did Central Park.) So the peak is likely between 105-110 for NYC and around 105 for JFK and points east. I don't factor in dew points or overnight temperatures since neither measure actual *heat*
  22. * The warm air temperatures this weekend in the middle to upper 60s may cause people to underestimate the dangers of the cold water temperatures, which are currently only in the lower 50s across Sebago Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee, and in the middle 50s in the regions smaller lakes and rivers.
