  1. Past hour
  2. For everyone that busted, it's all gonna get washed away in a couple days anyway.
  3. 100% Alot of large scale features have been changing/morphing under 144 hours so I dont expect these exact looks to hold. But yeah, not a shutout torch look. Recurring theme has been 'brief' moderation thus far.
  4. Measured a touch over 3 inches. Not even an inch when I went to bed last night, so I guess there was some back building. Short of the 5 to 8 forecast, but I consider it a win considering the way things looked around 11pm last night.
  5. "Screw zones", in my defintion, are different than dry slots. It is an area of poor dynamics. You are not necessarily incorrect. The cold air advection out ahead of the storm caused drier air. However, the main lifting of the storm was always going to be north and east of the this area.
  6. No way we have to wait until Jan 19 as per drought man. Models are starting to hint at some threats first 10 days of January, one of which being a legit Miller A (as depicted currently that will probably change).
  7. Yea, as always we gotta get lucky, but the pattern looks good. Just gotta see how the pac energy ends up shaking out. .
  8. Snowed at a nice mostly moderate with some lighter periods since around midnight here on si....just measured at 4" on the nose, temp down to 25°. Melted of 0.52"..…so all in all not too far off from what was expected for my area . Over 10" for the month now.
  9. Euro AI lighting up with a few events, one big Miller A as well as the GFS.
  10. 00z ai and 6z ai to a degree as well. Starting to see fantasy events being spit out in LR OP models. The Jan 6-10 frame has me excited personally .
  11. How does a storm like that miss us lol
  12. If this isn't a dry slot, I don't know what is.
  13. Crap is like cement. A plastic shovel doesn't stand a chance trying to clean up this crap.
  14. An inch maybe slightly more here. Small refresher to be part of the ice base of the pack after Monday
  15. 10.45" snow thru Dec 27. I've always considered December snow as 'bonus' snow as it is still outside of our prime climo period. Suffice it to say, we are ahead of schedule wrt our seasonal snowfall here in Ivyland, PA. We haven't been in this situation in a long long time.
