  1. Past hour
  2. If i were a betting man I'd think the euro is going to shift back west some at 12z the 0z was a total disconnect from everything else. That said im guessing Berryville to Round Hill will be in the cross hairs on the 12z euro...total guess though
  3. This is great info, thank you. I was going to just click the Thanks emoji as I did and leave it that since I had nothing meaningful to contribute, except to say that I noticed this morning that as of the latest update the High End was kept in the update, but the Low End was dropped entirely. I'm guessing that's out of concern that whatever it might have currently shown, people will see that and not t take this seriously, in an update where 'take this seriously' is rightly the whole point.
  4. Anyone have the 6z EURO liquid total map? It was .70 for NYC at 00z.
  5. NBM is 28.1" of snow for here. Would be biggest storm since Boxing Day. Going with 18" for here.
  6. How have you been doing? Everyone has been asking about you. Really glad you are back.
  7. looks like your call was a good one. inevitable shift W has ceased. It's going to be a hell of an event for coastal locals. Still some fun back here.
  8. I feel pretty good about 12-18ish here, definitely a bit too north for the truly insane numbers. Looks awesome for almost everyone.
  9. Folks seeking shelter inside dead Tauntauns out that way. Buckle up! As for me, I'm just gonna take whatever this thing gives me. I've had cover pretty much since Boxing Day, ample cold, and climo snow. Everything at this point is gravy. 15-30" of wind-driven snow would be spectacular.
  10. Was it winter storm “Juno” that did this last second? NWS had widespread 24-36 forecasts in and around NYC 2 days before I believe. If I recall the EURO and its ensemble was amped and GFS was progressive and east.
  11. I would love to see that. But someone is gonna get Raleighed
  12. Ya but don't want a last minute pull either.. ill take a tug west though
  13. Good morning New York City. Blizzard is on its way but today will be a beautiful day to run your errands before the storm hits. Currently 34 degrees with the beautiful sunrise coming up. It's going to be a relatively warm day today with a high of 47 light and variable winds. Tonight the temperature drops to around 34 degrees as the clouds roll in by sunrise. Sunday: we have a blizzard warning here with expected snow during the day around 2-4 inches during the day. Sunday night blizzard conditions, dangerous wind up to 70 mph in highest gusts, possible thundersnow and heavy wet snow with a low of 26 degrees with 10-14 inches of snow. Monday: Blizzard conditions in the morning with heavy snow, tapering down to light snow showers by early afternoon and ending west to east by 3pm high of 34 very windy. 3-6 inches of additional snow. Total storm snow accumulations of 15 to 24 inches possible. Monday Night: Cold and windy night low of 22
  14. I wouldn’t be shocked to see this move a little more SE between now and go time; but like you said no big changes at the moment.
  15. What an impressive NMB to see. And this is the more conservative experimental version 5.0
  16. I would personally take the 12" line right up to Philly right now, just northwest of Philly 8-12, and Berks/LHV 5-8". Points along the Jersey coast will see localized 24"+. I'm leaning heavily on the Canadian guidance which is right in the middle seemingly of the GFS/Euro. I think the final solution is 20 miles west of the Canadian.
  17. Lots of action starting Wednesday. Only looked at euro AI but looks like fronts and redeveloped and no cutter
  18. If Ji only knew where he lived he would be pumped by the 6z euro. That's an Eastern Loudoun special
  19. Down to interpretation mostly. Always going to have a zonked run or two…ahem NAM that puts the back thought of 30” into your head. If you look at this from the perspective of 24 hours ago it’s a completely different outlook. In other news 6z Euro and EPS look better. Some EPS members that definitely get the job done for the sub forum. Minuscule differences at h5 causing quite erratic surface depictions.
