  1. Past hour
  2. Very meh here in Hubbardston. Some rain, some thunder. 0.1”
  3. I'm just southwest of you and up to 2.75" so far.
  4. There was a 5 minute period where things were getting struck left and right. The Thunder was instant and crashing . Not much wind .. but that was a top 3 Lightning and Thunder display for me
  5. Hrrr was right with the 2 areas of severe being mostly north and south of the nyc metro
  6. Yup…don’t see that too terribly often here. Cool to see
  7. Steady rain continues. 76 degrees and 2.13 inches at this point. Yard is a soggy, green mess. Much different from last couple of summers. Wonder if we are setting ourselves up for an historic tropical flood event at some point this season.
  8. I am thinking the constant westerly wind the second half of the month came across water to keep La Guardia a little cooler.
  9. Now if that line can just hold together deep into New London county. Please and thanks.
  10. @RDM wow man, that's sick... love it. Seriously. Masonry is one building skill I haven't practiced much but greatly respect. Not much room for error and it's gotta be just right from the get go. You'll remember the build like yesterday and appreciate it forever. I'm excited to build our house. Modest size but lots of little touches that wife and I will love and appreciate until our time on earth is up. Then our kids can fight over it lolol
  11. Very west Texas-esq where CF meets dry line. You can see outflow surging SE and there’s a remnant boundary of some kind just sitting there.
  12. Anger. wow gummy up, dude. you'll chill out in a few years once the kids go packing lol
  13. Well that escalated quickly. Severe storm in Huntingtown, big wind and heavy rain for the past hour. We lost power about ten times in 30min, I'm sure that was good for the household electronics. Glad we have a propane stove so we were still able to make dinner.
  14. Huge strike and boom north downtown silver spring just now... That probably distracted a lot of folks on the beltway. Tons of energy zapping around. Here's a better shot of the poplar that got zapped on my street at 330pm. Looks like a tree bomb went off, bark scattered all over the street. Luckily my house is outside the fall radius ... But power lines and several houses aren't. Hope it doesn't fall!
