Start at 3 LE and adjust higher over the next 7 days… -
I guess if their is anything to track it will be around the 24th/25th. Euro AI and GFS have both hinted at something around that timeframe. Today's 12z Gfs/GEFS show a storm then. Just something to watch after the big warm up relaxes next week

Seeing some light at end of snow drought on models. Next weekend looks loaded. EURO AI has massive storm. -
someone once said it was too broad in general with its precip distribution but it definitely phased the streams sooner and was more amped with the southern low
-
…and we’re back to where we were yesterday. Ha
-
Euro AI losing its deadliness on this threat in such a manner would be diabolical.
-
Nice shift north for Monday on euro and euro AI.

Around 3 inches of liquid equivalent for most of New England south of the white mountains through February 27.

MECS/borderline HECS on the Euro AI. Subtract about 2-5" for anywhere that is DC and NW due to the 2/15 event. -
Decent call here with the exception of bringing a cold front too far S on President's day. That front will go stationary across the Lakes as a new system makes it's way along the boundary from the W.

Please, that's all we normally have every season...

In fairness the conversation began with a discussion of the number of days of snow cover so far this winter. I never thought deer would become the main topic, but this is how conversation goes sometimes. -
Crazy amount of model discrepancy at such short leads.

Not enough but honestly wouldn't take much..

Skynet practically doubles snow to date over the next 15 days… -
Wow, the euro AI has a 36 hour coastal crawler around the 24th and 25th. That would be colossal as long as their mid levels don’t get flooded with warmth.
