  1. Past hour
  2. Has pollen seemed way worse this spring than years prior to anyone else?
  3. Thanks, I always miss the ones I lose but then I rescue another, she's from Mississippi, 12 weeks old, house broken, very trainable and just a sweet girl.
  4. Sorry for the loss of your long time companion, but that dude also looks like he’s ready for a good life.
  5. There likely will be a period where it is dry on Sunday.
  6. Missed again tonight. Had to water-Its been a long time since I had to water a garden on the first day in May. The Blue Mts are absolutely destroying every cell that comes near them. Just incredible.
  7. I’ve come to fully accept cold season QPF deficits followed by QPF bull’s-eye for warm season. I guess I won’t do any planting this week because seeds will be washed away and roots will rot.
  8. I gave up too, years ago, I've had 4 females, and they always burn spots. I lost my dog of 15 years a few weeks ago but adopted an awesome puppy last week. I wish I could post the pic but having troubles. Edit: did it
  9. High: 90.8 on 4/4! (90.4 on 4/30) Low: 37.0 on 4/13. Precip: 2.00"
  10. Is Sunday looking like an all day washout or moreso afternoon?
  11. Drove through the Tolland triangle on I-84 today. survived.
  12. I have a bit of zoysia and it does that. It’s as dead looking as can be mid fall to mid spring. I regret planting it now though.
  13. Today
  14. For May 1, it’s disgusting. 81% humidity and I don’t think we even get rain.
  15. 3 here as well. Usually starts mid April but I'd say we are 7-10 days ahead of climo here
  16. Nonstop rain starting Sat/Sun...then I leave to go storm chasing on the plains next Thursday and the pattern looks horrid for the first half of my trip. I will be hating the weather for a good week or more.
  17. No shit! Really? They must do their business out of that photo.
  18. That’s some weird different grass type. Trust me it bothers me . It”ll green up in the high dews next couple days
  19. I gave up a long time ago with a dog. After a while, you just sort of accept that you won’t walk them off-property every time they go outside (for their entire life, ha). I respect it though, my dad makes us take the dog across the street to the woods when we visit. If only a couple days, you can keep a dog off a lawn. But long term never going to happen.
  20. Looks like the neighbor’s dog took a leak in one spot.
