In Franklin you mean? Yeah i was thinking about that when i was putting the map together. They do include both days from the cocorahs and COOP reporters, they measure every day and it included Jan 25-27th, i checked to be sure. I dont just go off the PNS i looked at the actual cocorahs and coop final numbers. There was a bit of a hole toward the end of the main part of the storm you can see on radar and most of Franklin missed that main band that developed on Monday, at least the best of it. I attached a full radar loop below. If it was just one or two reports id toss em but there were about a dozen 11-13.5ish reports around there. The only reports that were higher than 15 were in western Franklin from East Hawley and SW Conway. I decided to include them based on that, i do think about these things when putting a map together, sometimes i gotta trust the reports since i dont live there and when theres like 12 all around the same number, then ill include them. This is always a possibility. Nobody knows anything concrete now. Modeling sucked. It snowed in many place way before it was supposed to. I feel like forecasting has been a grasp and that mets are just following suit. One says it, they all say it. Dry slot is the new buzzword. Like hanging chad back in the day.

Roughly 0.6-0.7" in Belmont at 6:00. Temperature is 26.4°F (right in line with latest HRRR for here). I-85 corridor GSP to Kannapolis about to really see thinks pick up over the next 1-2 hours it seems.

lowest so far was 1/28 here at -7.6°, currently is 4.0 here, at least it's not windy, yesterday was brutal cold with the wind.

Maybe for the in land peeps, but not good for the coast. Especially with all that ice, the rain would have nowhere to go except people's basements. Got the whole weekend to see what happens.

Coming down nicely here as well, guessing between 1 and 2 inches, beautiful out there, I was half expecting to see nothing when I looked out this morning, lol, glad that was not the case.

Generally smaller flake size with some bigger ones mixed in, but still steady light to moderate snow at 16 degrees. HRRR still looks on track from what I can tell. We have a solid 4 inches with 5 in the grass as of 6am. Edit: And windy! Snow sometimes blowing sideways. The roof snow blow off is real.
