Been raining here in Union county for like an hour now. Looks like some more coming off the ocean after this one moves through. -

0.12" here, pretty representative of most of the Denver Metro area by COCORAHS. Nice- helped incrementally with crispiness. BTW, though not mountains but relatively close- the hailstorm in McCook, NE yesterday was pretty devastating. 2 hours of hail up to 3" from a rare stationary supercell. I hope they got most of the crops in already! -
Understood! I only meant it for the location accuracy to Bermuda. Sadly too many articles use this headline tactic even outside the weather sphere. Stay well, as always ….

Dry as a bone at work and at home. I even soaked my hydrangeas last night in hopes of jinxing things :/ -
Raining hard again, amazing!

We had enough to wet the parking lot earlier and it dried right up as soon as the sun came back out. It's filling in a little bit this afternoon. -

^^The only dog in VA with his own private well. I think you should add HVAC for the little fella. It only seems fair.

Virginia Beach with 8 inches of rain, this is a very concentrated system almost like a tropical storm. You have to be near the center to get most of the rain. -

To be honest, I don't think it matters what us regular people think, it's useless to lose any sleep over what regular people think. Nothing will change until our oligarchs decide it's time for things to change. -

Western Europe is warming like Western North America is warming, does having an ocean west of you increase the rate of warming? And why? One would think the opposite should be true (since the main flow of air is west to east.) -

I just had a little 3 minute shower here that was barely enough to wet the ground. I agree it's unlikely that we're gonna get much, but we'll have to see if we can get lucky with one of these isolated downpours. I see there's one down in Monmouth right now heading northwest, but I don't know if it's gonna hit us or miss a little to the south. More likely south. -

wait why would ANYONE have an opposition to air conditioning? -
1.48" for the event. Didn't expect a soaker like this but I can't say I have been paying close attention in the days leading up.

Was 64 and partly suny here in Copenhagen today. Will actually be 70 this weekend.

Yawn worthy weather continues here, for the next seven days at least as forecast by NWS for Chicopee, Mass. (local station). Meanwhile, my theme song for the summer:

Definitely a mess, sheared apart by an ULL. blob:https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/5026dd98-4087-4470-abf3-c589c2404393 Plus surrounded by dry sinking air.

Not for folks old enough to remember the mid-1960s. (But more than enough - time for some rain.)

You realize the population of Bermuda is WELL below 100K never mind MILLIONS. The article is pure clickbait.
