Yeah I don't get all the scoffing and "ho-hum" here. This is 10 days away for crying out loud, and there's a decent signal for a moderate (maybe better?) event. This isn't some well-defined classic K-U event that shows up on all guidance a week or so out and never wavers. It's a much more volatile setup. FFS, didn't you already punt?

18z gfs is a nice flow snow for Thursday, and a nice light event for the next weekend. Promising.

18z GFS is not good outside of the mountains until late sunday night. Rain changes to Snow. The first storm is nada per 18z GFS

From 45 at 4:05am to 69 at 12:42pm. Lower high than I expected, I think the clouds helped keep the temp down a bit.
