  1. Past hour
  2. the ETA model is basically the predecessor to the NAM - and, I think it was DT who said if you had agreement between the ETA and the Euro, it was basically a lock (this has not surprisingly been proven NOT to be the case always, but still).
  3. Icon leaves the Baja trough dangling.
  4. 84hr NAM was getting pumped! There it is someone had to say.
  5. ICON not as cold this run so far out to h78
  6. Did you try Walmart Connect?
  7. Dude we are so SO close to an absolute smackdown phase with the 18z Euro. Though arguably the end run we got was better due to not having any thermal issues aloft and double barreled system. Ideally you probably have a bit more interaction but that's a nitpick so far out.
  8. I wonder what the Setup was for the Record 3 Day Snowstorm back in early December 1886 that buried Knoxville under 2 Feet of Snow ?
  9. Weather channel named this one Winter Storm Fern. One of latest F named winter storms aside from last winter. They’re already attaching the buzz words to it on social media
  10. I remember that storm well. A couple local mets were adamant that there was no way it would hit. I remember staying up and sneaking a peak at the 11 pm news. Hilton on channel 3 called the high to the north "the rock of Gibraltar" and would miss. What a great surprise the next day
  11. the kids are gonna be like, "what the fuck are these old farts talking about"
  12. I'm not afraid to say it...it does look encouraging, but it's still the NAM
  13. ICON digging the cold a bit further west this run out to h60
  14. Hope yall get crushed! Definitely are due. Classic overrunning event it looks like.
  15. I’d like the TPV further west. Probably my biggest concern tbh. But also not convinced the bitterly cold temps/suppression will be realized. I still like my goal of 4-6” lol
  16. I am just looking forward to SREF plumes range. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro XL using Tapatalk
  17. I'm in Chatty. I've seen this before. If we can manage 3" of snow that will be a huge win in southeast Hamilton County. We always teeter on the edge. Same as this storm. We are on the verge of a bad ice storm and a few inches of snow, and just a 20 mile shift in the storm with a little more cold air above could give us 6" of snow. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  18. Unfortunately we might be in a historic ice storm for us. Let's hope its not as bad as the EURO is showing.
