That storm started on a Sunday afternoon and didn’t fully end till Wednsday morning. It was like 6 inches on Sunday, 15 inches on Monday, and the rest on Tuesday and Wednesday. I think the total at ABE airport was about 2 feet. One of our greatest storms of all time.

I'd put in a couple mile Jebwakk in that. I'd probably even do a night nighttime Jebwalk in that. During LES on the Tug the wind is ripping along the edges of the snowband, whipping up vertices of blinding ground blizzards across the Tug. It looks like they are dancing along the edge of the storm. The arctic blue sky is right overhead, contrasting against a wall of black, to an almost a brownish colored, fast moving clouds. Once the band starts to slide over you the blue sky disappears and the wind whipped snowflakes start to appear. The intensity doubles with every wind gust until your jaw drops in amazement at the extreme display of mother nature. Suddenly you're in the heart of the beast. It goes completely calm. The intensity of the snow takes over all of your senses. The faint sound of a bird chirping in an world dominated by the snowflakes is surreal.

He will be one of the few posters on the NE forum that is actually ahead of average snowfall season to date.

I was literally going back in my images to look for that exact run What a fun storm that one was. For me personally down in Fleetwood, I enjoyed it more than 2016. We got more snow and, although rates never exceeded 2" an hour at peak, it snowed literally for days.

A quick AI search reports Washington Reagan 8.6" with annual seasonal average of 14". NY City has received 21.2" with a 25 year seasonal average of 29". I have measured just over 11" total in Lincoln County this season. My annual average states 5”.
