  4. Probably Colorado. Blizzards, nice mild stretches during winter, no humidity, and short trip to high plains tornado/landspout action.
  5. Anything before that will be another May style head fake then?
  6. Thanks for correcting me on how my well is performing. A large load of laundry struggled today to fill for the rinse cycle. Then it takes 30 mins to get normal water pressure back.

  8. 70s during the day and 50s at night here.. perfect for late summer
  9. The models are suggesting that moisture returns mid week and could continue into the weekend. It appears a frontal boundary stalls nearby and further enhance the potential for heavy rainfall amounts. Temps look to be near normal to end out August for the Mountains. Daylight continues to dwindle as Fall is quickly approaching.
  10. Sister in law lives in SF. Truly an incredible region. We try and visit at least once a year, always something new and incredible to do.
  11. I’d like to live in western Montana, somewhere within 90min of a quality ski resort. Spent two summers in college living in Dillon Montana and loved exploring that area and especially points north. Would also be very content in/nearby Grand Marais MN with Lutsen for my winter skiing habit, a reliable water source and imo high quality and vastly underrated hiking and camping opportunities everywhere.
  12. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be mostly sunny and pleasantly cool days. Highs will generally top out in the upper 70s. Showers and thundershowers could move through the region on Thursday or Thursday night. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s into next weekend. No excessive heat appears likely through the remainder of August. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +4.0°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was +2.6°C for the week centered around August 19. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +3.87°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged +2.43°C. The ongoing strong El Niño, which has reached super El Niño threshold, will continue to strengthen through the summer. The SOI was -7.22 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was -0.152 today. Based on sensitivity analysis applied to the latest guidance, there is an implied near 50% probability that New York City will have a cooler than normal August (1991-2020 normal). August will likely finish with a mean temperature near 76.1° (near normal). Supplemental Information: The projected mean would be 0.9° above the 1981-2010 normal monthly value.

  14. There's been a couple other Orioles hitters ( other than Jackson) to reach out to Matt Holiday for hitting help and have emediate success. Beavers is one of them. What an indictment on the Os hitting coaches, the organizational philosophy and Mike Elias. Mike needs to go. I'm more and more convinced Elias is ruining all of these young guys careers.
  15. Where’s the chill and BN? This is a late summer mini torch with normals now near 80 for highs .
  16. Just popped a quick .15 downpour dump here out of nowhere . No more than 4-5 minutes . Clean truck ruined now dirty
  17. Insane man. Rain every day since Thursday.
