    I could live with half the size. To me there’s not much to be gleaned with specificity with any preseason range, other than the broad BN, N, AN, H(yperactive) categories. Maybe it furthers the science, but I think dead on numbers are of limited utility. More useful for H and MH numbers though given baseline warmth in the Atlantic. The real “game” is when a storm like Milton is churning. The forecasting gains there have been extraordinary.

    No one is going to take climate change seriously with winter-type weather occurring in May lol. We all know it's happening but people yearn for warmth this time of year. If anything the people I've talked to said they want climate change to speed up so this kind of crap weather can't happen anymore. They were being serious too.

    I was on a different part of the mountain… would’ve been out there for hours working over to 4kft. I know, I failed. We try again tomorrow. Damn did a hot shower feel good though.

    Went up to 3,300ft and hit snowflakes around 3,000ft. No accumulation but legit snowing at 3,200ft+. Summit cam shows accumulation at 4,000ft. I wasn’t in a position to get over there and man, that was some brutal weather conditions to be outside in for 2 hours. Walking through wind driven rain 1500-3000ft to see some flakes, ha. Was thoroughly cold and wet when I hit the car again.

    39.1F Moderate rain with the first catpaws mixing in. Of course no one would me would ever know it but the car windshield reveals they are there.

    I bumped my fireplace on for about 15 minutes this morning…was 64 degrees in the room. Rained most of the day and picked up .42” of rain.

    Mostly missed the heavier showers today, but picked up a little here and there. Looks like 0.93" will be the grand total.
