According to some neighbors' weather stations, we're somewhere between 2"-2.5" in Germantown

Weird, our trees are just starting to change around here but just barely. Seeing these pics from far nne really puts into perspective just how much climate and ecology can vary from one area to the next. I’m sure things will rapidly change down here over the next few weeks as they usually do but as we always say, season within seasons!

For the West sure..but the East have had near normal temperatures..September in CPK was a little bit below normal..nothing out of the ordinary..now the Plains and the West are a different story.

Snow showers in the forecast for the first time for next weekend. Cross guidance signal for a deep through to roll through. Been there for a while actually.

If there wasn't the new turf in NFL stadiums...the Jet and Giants games would be played in mud..used to love those games as a kid.

One of the more fascinating things around here after a big rain event is how loud Grandfather gets. The mountain literally roars. Kinda cool, and a bit eerie. Aaaand it's raining again with nothing on radar. Might get my last 5/100ths today anyways. Sent from my Pixel 10 Pro using Tapatalk -
The rain looks to be in here way ahead of what was thought. I was hoping it would hold off until 4-5 pm. But it looks to be here within the hour. Quite a bit too.

Ahh let him fantasize…that’s his porn.

Been moderate to light here in silver spring this am, but absolutely dumping buckets in the current band.

9. 95", looks like there was a little zone from Linville up this way that got the highest totals. Widespread 7-8 though, at least on the south/east side. Couple of my employees are stuck with small land/mudslides and flooded roads. Overall main roads in the county are fine. The low water levels prior definitely saved some big problems. 1.47 so far, rain seemed to slow down now.
