  1. Past hour
  2. I know what you're talking about but that is different. This is what I am referring too. I think The History Channel had removed the episodes from their page and then get flagged and removed from other accounts because I am always seeing them reposted under different accounts.
  3. 6010DM 500MB height on the 0z MSP sounding, which sets a new all-time record.
  4. We created this animation / video of the heat indices over the heatwave. 380,000 data points in 5 minutes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1reTXiqRwfQw1g8udC0H29Po6FsajkJVt/view?usp=sharing
  5. Wow. Crazy totals for you in McDowell County. I have right at 1.25 inches. You tripled my total.
  6. Euro and gfs hinting at rain Saturday..Hopefully holding off til at night
  7. 93 for the afternoon high. Crazy having warmer temps to my north. International Falls got to 97.
  8. That’s why I said let’s get that at 18z. I know it won’t arrive until later. We just fantasize.
  9. Nothing ever like that winter in recorded history up here. It was an experience for sure to try and operate a ski area through that. We even started up our summer activities that holiday period, like high ropes course, climbing walls, zip lines and stuff, to give all the hotel guests at least some activities.
  10. Time of day does matter if you want to realize the max sfc temp for the day using 850. Reaching 27 C after peak heating is not the same for sfc temp as already being 27 C in the morning and the mixing out fully for peak heating.
  11. Today's Highs TEB: 90 EWR: 88 New Brnswck: 87 PHL: 86 LGA: 85 TTN: 85 BLM: 84 NYC: 84 ACY: 83 JFK: 82 ISP: 81
  12. That one put down another half an inch here. It was even heavier south of me as it moved through LaFollette and Jacksboro.
  13. If it is “mixed“ to 850 and it’s 27 at 850 then the sfc has to be consistent with the adiabatic curve. Time of day doesn’t matter.
  14. I’d have to look it up… but nothing is sticking out in a memorable way. Looking at the snow depth there was a decent gain in the first half of December that plateaued for a while before a Xmas thaw hit. Snow depth looks pretty normal in Dec 2014.
  15. Today
  16. Christmas Day 2015 baby. Only time in 70 years without a trace of snow at the CO-OP stake. Not even ice on the cliffs. Had a couple nights cold enough to blow a white ribbon, ha.
  17. Yesterday
  18. Was hoping we could stay in 70s but made it to 81.7 today. No additional measurable rainfall though it did rain/drizzle past noon
  19. Reached 98 here. Dews fell from the mid 70's to the upper 50's during the hottest part of the day, so it wasn't that bad. Highest reading in the UP was 102 @ Baraga Plains. They're usually one of the top 5 cold spots too. One more day in the mid 90's, then back to more respectable summer weather.
