Just try and sniff out the pattern. We’ve been around long enough to see the forest thru the trees.

Can’t help with reading comprehension sorry you don’t understand.

not bad. * A period of rain Friday night into Saturday morning, then possibly drying out Saturday afternoon, before a second round of showers & possible thunderstorms arrive Saturday evening/night * Mainly dry Sunday and Monday, just a low probability of a brief/spot shower each afternoon. Slightly cooler than normal

Grass! For the first time in 16 years there -
I’m with @Met1985 , it can stay cool for all summer, as far as I am concerned. I have loved this cool May! It’s been awesome. I was in PA yesterday, and wore a sweater over my shirt all day because it didn’t make it out of the 50s. That’s awesome for May 28! .

There's zero chance that type of full evacuation takes place in the U.S. No way a geologist is convincing a town to get out entirely.

All meant in good fun, though hard to believe that's the post you take offense to, ha. You know you start the warm season, summer, A/C install, full court press earlier and earlier each year, even at Morch. It drives conversation, keeps things lively. It now feels like we have more posts these days arguing summer weather than we get in the winter.

Round 2 timing is TBD..

I know it. That’s why I said solid June weather. We take.

A lot of guidance has the classic gap that opens up just west of Richmond and continues to the coast. Not sure if that’s because of the rain the models want to send through early morning, or some other phenomenon, but it’s annoying to see instead of something to break up the cloudy days.

Nice forecast update by my colleague. I had the Slight Risk through Eastern KY, WV, and Central MD this morning. With the latest CAMs, Philly got on board. They wanted to see one more suite before wanting the higher risk, so I backed off the Philly area on initial collaboration. Looks like tomorrow will bring the goods

Saturday afternoon looks partly sunny and muggy ahead of round 2

Lmao I didn’t see one person say days and days in fact I posted a few days back saying it’s relatively good timing mostly overnight Friday and it’s a quick hitter in and out. However, it now looks like a good part of Saturday will be a washout here..

I don’t need that.

2025 Lawns & Gardens Thread. Making Lawns Great Again

So, we are starting to get a lot of poison ivy, showing up in the back, wooded part of our yard. I’d rather not use toxins to kill it. Has anybody here had any luck with more natural solutions? I was thinking of mixing up a big batch of sea salt and vinegar to spray it with. I’m pretty sensitive to it so I’m not really interested in putting on gloves and pulling it up myself. Also looking to see if I could borrow some goats for a day or two. I would love to own a pair of goats, but I’m not quite ready for that commitment and they are not easy to contain. -
Warm and humid seems to be the look

Since it is almost Met Summer, maybe this thread can be unpinned -
Same but he is really pushing extreme humidity. I left Texas to get away from that …

Yeah. I was reading about that. Good thing they listened to the scientists and got people out

Good grief NAM -- that would be a proper mess for DC
