  1. Past hour
  2. Shorts weather starting Friday for quite a few days in a row.
  3. What is the latest on the mixed bag tomorrow morning? Should i be looking at the hrrr model? Still looking like freezing rain that will impact am commute? Ending around 8am and changing to rain? .
  4. From flurries to moderate snow in a flash. Wow!
  5. Sorry a little old, I just wanted to point out that this is only related to the computation of the "normals" from the two sites. Toledo actually averaged 0.3°F cooler than Fort Wayne for the 1991-2020 timeframe. The normals in Toledo add about 1.5°F or so to this actual mean. Not sure if NOAA/NWS was piloting some sort of new calculation of normals that would incorporate a warming climate or what the case may be. Obviously, not related to rural siting as Toledo Express is in a very rural location well outside the city.
  6. Finally broke the dry air. Domino sugar snow accumulating to nonpaved surfaces. Temp down to 29°!
  7. super embarrassing meltdown this morning by Will. A retired adult
  8. Second biggest snow of the season here. Eyeballing around 2". Just got back from running into Charles Town which is only a few miles away and there was just a light coating.
  9. You can tell we actually have good dynamics aloft from the “flurries” being dendrites but we need some juice
  10. Euro ai doing something interesting on the 15th
  11. Yep - flurries at least. Need the stuff south to push up.
  12. Deathband that was over me has lightened up a bit since 215pm or so; lighter flakes now. But last few frames have the hole filling in, at least over DC?
  13. Light snow in Lutherville. Temp now 31. Mulch and chair covers are only things looking a bit white.
  14. Just measured a very legit 3.25" here and still coming down, though rates have eased a bit.
  15. Tiny flakes falling at my office in Perryville, MD. .
  16. Yeah every big storm. Total BS but whatever.
  17. With the late SSWE , depending on how late with the Lag , it may cause an extended Severe Season. Could cause a shift south of us for a period (probably early April) then a strong revamping rest of April well into or even through May.
  18. My house is in that bright yellow band. Just looked at the cam and the ground is covered and snowing hard.
  19. Did see a couple cams move towards this overnight but wanted to hope it wouldn't happen. Sucks to be between bands but what can you do.
  20. Don't issue grades. We've been told there's "plenty of winter left" despite all evidence to the contrary.
