  1. Past hour
  2. I was at Hershey Park for 7 hours Saturday. This weather would have been much preferable. Mid 80's and the sun beating in those lines was not enjoyable. At least I didn't go Friday and have to deal with that giant fight. Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk
  3. Chilly morning with +/- sd's across the area with teens along the shore. -11 at Hog Creek in Cook county. Along the BWCA it looks like. Seagull Lake N of there at -7. Top 5 cold snap looking at records. Similar cold snap back in 2023.
  4. Three April's up here... Three Aprils it has snowed Sent from my SM-S166V using Tapatalk
  5. 3rd biggest April snowfall at Central Park but easily its most wintry April event, POR 1869 on. Yankees' home opener had been set for April 6; at the 1 PM game time it was 25°, S+, 6" new. Their max of 30° on 4/7 is tied for their coldest April max. The storm was my all-time good bust. CAR forecast for 4/7 the afternoon before was cloudy, windy 20s. In the evening they added flurries. Final total was 26.3", at the time their biggest snowfall, now in 4th place.
  6. Sunny and warm here in the sun with no wind
  7. Me too! I had to look it up. I had no idea.
  8. The hardest it has snowed the entire "winter"..
  9. Guys in the S sub not jealous at this point. We have to wait a bit for Spring to really spring. Just life at a little higher lat, and by a big cold pond.
  10. Seriously I love it here! Just talked to my mom in agawam and said it was sunny dry. Lol a few flakes left 2.25 total!! We take!!

  12. Heavy snow with great snow growth in Methuen.
  13. Interesting. It’s been so long since we’ve had one I forgot
  14. looks like sun for an hour along the Pike
  15. 52 / 31 cooler today / overnight into tomorrow 48 hours with freezes possible (tonight/Wed night) before moderating Thu / Fri to and above normal. Great weekend on tap. Next week much above normal if no onshore tendency is missed and develops on subsequent forecasting. 70s - 80s maybe a stray 90 as Bluewave noted above in the extreme case 4/13 - 4/15. Beyond there overall warm a bit back of cut off potential / ULL but other than that overall warmer than normal and drier than normal the next 7 - 10 days.
  16. Webb exhibits at times a tone that borders on being over the top to get attention. “Hilariously strong”?
  17. Woke up to 28 degrees and a minor dusting of snow in my part of the Poconos this am.
  18. Wetter in the winter. Drier in the summer. ". For much of the southeastern United States during the summer of an El Niño event, the climate is usually warmer and drier. " https://climate.ncsu.edu/learn/the-el-nino-southern-oscillation/
  19. You must live in the greatest climo spot in the region Somehow always able to pull off accumulating snow. Like its mostly sunny here right now and you're ripping snow. There could be like 3 separate snow showers moving through the region, two of them happen to get you and somehow drop 1.5". You also always seem to get crushed with thunderstorms. the weather gods certainly love that area
  20. Aren’t El Niños typically wetter on the east coast? With a total of 0.01” for April and no chance of rain till mid month at earliest, it could be dire straights around here unless we get a good soaking second half of month, not good
  21. There are only a few snow reports trickling in so far. The highest is 5.5".
