    What's crazy is after this storm, there is a lot of cold air sticking around for a while. Whatever falls aint going anywhere. The ground temps will be cold when it starts falling.. I need sleep gonna be a long week tracking lol

    What’s left on the driveway is a crunchy immovable glacier, looks and feels like real winter again. 18F overnight low. 2 inches measured on a truck bed, bit less on blacktop / walkway. Not bad at all, looking ahead to what seems to be real cold coming our way and hopefully storm chances that aren’t squashed to Georgia.

    Bottom out at 18 this morning. Lots of data to take in from the overnight runs. As time moves on the battle lines will become more clear on the impacts at the end of the week.

    The Euro precip type map on pivotal is calling this ZR, so just be aware that those freezing rain maps are pretty much completely useless

    6z Euro looking pretty nice at the end. Starting to feel like...as long as we don't have any guidance go the opposite way (more squashed) and have everything at least hold steady today that would be encouraging

    It’s a good sign for you guys up in Nova and MD if I’m starting to sweat the mixing line down at UVA. Better not happen though because I do NOT want to have to drive up to Nova for this.
