My favorite green is the fresh early warm season green, especially when we line up warmth and sun after rains.

I wasn't implying you said that. I was just making a very generalized statement (using the assumption that stronger = worse). We all know that 2009-10 was a weird ass winter. Bare ground in Maine with feet of snow in the Mid-Atlantic. I already have a feeling for the type of winter it'll be here, but ill wait til fall to see if it changes. Im thinking one real shitty warm month. Multiple stretches of winter weather the rest of the time but no sustaining like the past 2. Another wildcard is the traditional el nino = dry can actually really be a fail during strong ninos with some surprisingly wet results (chuck pointed this out).

Similar here. I got hit with the narrower part of the line so it didn’t last long. That’s my only complaint. It didn’t rain much. The line got a lot beefier as it moved to the eastern parts of the state.

Doesn't get much greener in the woods. Ferns are out in force.

89.1 which is the 4th highest temp I've recorded since moving here in the fall of '22. Not a long time obviously but still rather impressive warmth.
