  1. Past hour
  2. Had to zoom in on your pic. At first, it looked like the gable end of your house got pelted with hail.
  3. There has been a total collapse of the South Pacific High (“Anticyclone”). Something that hasn’t happened since 1997 and one of the reasons for the inferno in region 1+2, along with the huge WWBs and DWKWs we’ve been seeing for months….
  4. Yep, I missed it not at home lol. But it looks like the majority is a few miles north of me.
  5. Canada looks wet too, might be a good thing wrt wildfire smoke.
  6. 90° for some stations today ... 89° here.
  7. Too bad you’re not smart enough to figure out how to view other’s posts.
  8. Some models hinting at popping a weak coastal a week from now
  9. At least the monsoon is showing up in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico
  10. My understanding is that ironically it is white footed field mice rather than deer that spread ticks the most, including the type commonly known as "deer ticks." Foxes eat the mice, and communities with active fox populations have a significantly reduced incidence of tick-borne diseases.
  11. The North Pacific is indeed the last quadrant to respond (possibly due to the arctic) but I think it wakes up to El Niño in due time. It is responding well everywhere else in the world (including the raging jet in the Southern Pacific).
  12. Nope, not at all. As Ray @40/70 Benchmark already stated earlier, the tropics and subtropics/++PMM are very clearly in full blown strong El Niño mode. At no point was I disagreeing with bluewave about the extratropical North Pacific. Changing the subject to the discussion above, as far as the NAO, no way on God’s green earth do I think the NAO averages negative this winter (Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar) despite what some weenie accounts on twitter are saying. Super El Niño, descending solar activity off a big solar max, high geomag, +QBO….color me very, very skeptical of this big -NAO winter hype on social media
  13. Milwaukee going to have the record dryest July. Can't say the same about drinking.
  14. <1/8 mile vis with this torrential rain, 60 dBZ echoes Glad Sox finished in time!
  15. 30 mins away from my house fishing but this line is coming in.might have to find a place to shelter
  16. Tropical downpour with this cell. Some thunder and a little wind. Nothing crazy.
  17. I feel like every time Bluewave makes a post about how the North American pattern doesn’t resemble a super Nino, snowman posts some tweets about how coupled the Nino is. It’s like some passive aggressive disagreement with Bluewave. lol
  18. Can we finally put any talk of the O’s being buyers to rest?
