  1. Past hour
  2. Sqall is here. Heaviest to our south. .
  3. Well. Not everyone, but yes, a bunch. Just nice to see when a MET is on board as well.
  4. Just 0.1" of snow reported from NYC up to midnight so the contest period didn't miss out on much with that start.
  5. It was quite beautiful around here yesterday. I ended up with a dusting .The wind arrived here in Fareview township around 1:45AM and snow showers have returned just after 2:00AM.
  6. Nice coating from that line. Pretty snow
  7. Gentle light snow...coating... Been snowing since before 11 pm
  8. Today
  9. It should accelerate now which may eventually weaken it, but it's being pulled quickly into the circulation off the coast and will be advancing more like 50-75 mph from now on. It's going to be through DC and Baltimore before 0230 at the rate it is going, and beyond all southeast parts of this forum before 0330 except far southeast VA, may have lost a lot of its identity by then with just remnant flurries.
  10. squall line came through silently—last time there were house-shaking gusts and phones going off. visibility dropped to 1/4-1/2 mile vis, so moderately heavy snow. everything is white again for now.
  11. Not sure how long we will be in this band/squall going thru but she's a doing it right now. This camera about 3 miles from the house.
  12. Cumberland dropped 6 degrees the past hour and had a 41 mph gust. Moderate snow here. Quick quarter-inch of accumulation.
  13. Radar looks absolutely nasty out west, I’m tempted to set an alarm. When might it start?
  14. Hate to say this but..it's in the Carlolina's now

  16. The GFS signaled the trend with the 18z run when QP dropped significantly over Virginia. After 18z, I was expecting 00z to be feast or famine. Famine rules the roost.
  17. Looks like it's making it over the mountains fairly easily.
