Was skeptical of StormNet at first because it’s very AI driven but it’s done a damn good job. Something to watch for Monday.

My background is in ticks, and you are right that the white-footed mice spread them the most along with chipmunks. This is why you NEVER want to sit on a rock wall in or near the woods. The mice nest in them, and they are loaded with larval ticks, which molt into nymphs. The nymphs, because of their size, are the ones most likely to transmit Lyme. The deer are the singles bar for the ticks. The adult females feed on them, and the male ticks move from female to female to mate (gigitty gigitty as Quagmire would say). The males don't really even care about a blood meal, just mating. Such is life.

There has been a total collapse of the South Pacific High (“Anticyclone”). Something that hasn’t happened since 1997 and one of the main reasons for the inferno in region 1+2, along with the huge WWBs and DWKWs we’ve been seeing for months…. -
