We are in the no fun zone... I am okay with it.. cleaning the office today so I could care less whats going on outside, but this has been a nothing burger for us. I get it, we were always on the edge here in SNH for heavy rains and winds. And yes maybe we get some gusts tomorrow, but its been .16" of rain and a 16 mph gust.

So far a bust here. .16" or rain an a gust to 16 mph. We were always on the boarder line for heavy rains.. 1" to 5 inches in the span of 30 miles by most models.

New York City and nearby areas remain on course for a storm total 1"-3" with locally higher amounts. Parts of Long Island will likely see 2"-4" of rain with locally higher amounts. Coastal erosion and flooding at high tide are again likely tonight and tomorrow, especially at high tide. Winds could gust past 50 mph in the region. Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool with highs mainly in the lower and middle 60s. After some early showers, Monday will dry out. The temperature will rise into the upper 60s. Tuesday and Wednesday could see some sunshine along with warmer readings in the lower and middle 70s. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +4.6°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was +3.0°C for the week centered around September 16. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +4.33°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged +2.73°C. Both ENSO regions have tied their all-time warmest anomalies. The ongoing strong El Niño, will continue to strengthen through the mid-fall. The SOI was -19.85 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +0.215 today. Based on sensitivity analysis applied to the latest guidance, there is an implied near 74% probability that New York City will have a cooler than normal September (1991-2020 normal). September will likely finish with a mean temperature near 68.8° (0.4° below normal). Supplemental Information: The projected mean would be 0.8° above the 1981-2010 normal monthly value.
