Thanks for posting these. I see these are based on just one run, 8/22/26 at 0Z, as opposed to being based on a mean of multiple runs. To compare, the 3 day/12 run means on Tropical Tidbits and even the 10 day/40 run means directly from the CFSv2 are of limited value, especially considering how jumpy they often are from one run to the next due to essentially no forecasting value that far out. So, this X-post being based on just one run is essentially of no value. For example, here are the last two runs from WxBell for Feb ‘27: 6Z 8/23/26: cold in E, warm in W 0Z 8/23/26: nearly the exact opposite! I saw something fly over my house about 40 minutes ago. Very loud. By the time I got outside to look a large plane was headed east, but the sun prevented a good view. Was not a jet liner. And the noise could've been multiple jets, fighters being too small to see in that sun glare.

My chickens are pissed.

You don't have 4 dogs and multiple grandkids either. Seriously lawn is nuts. I keep it low not for looks, good god my lawn with my all clay soil is mostly a disaster, I keep it low to keep ticks out, mosquitoes bugs, able to clean dog poop, allow grandkids to destroy the lawn more with football baseball games. PS have to brag. My 8 year old great grandson playing football with mostly 10 year old and a measely 56 lbs going against up to 100 lb kids, scores 2 TDS rushes for 135 yds makes 7 unassisted tackles with 4 assists. Kids a beast. Brag over. I am the least OCD person on the planet. Ask my wife...

That squall line along the south coast means business. It looks like parts of the cape are about to get a good hit with some gusty winds as well. It’s a shame we’re kind of wedged in the middle here between heavy bands.
