It’s tough to get much snow near the coast with SW winds.

Most likely under a heavier band. Seems folks to the west of city are doing best with better rates and some elevation. We’ve been under very light precip since the start, here. .

.3" here. Just flurries now. Not enough for full coverage, but it's better than just plain brown sticks/grass.

It'll pick back up, you should get to 2-2.5" if it doesn't melt a little.. Guidance is much colder than it was so those that get 1.5" + should easily keep it for a white christmas.

There was still some snow up there from Friday on the north facing slopes along 84 yesterday.

Almost like a March-like storm. Inland and elevation helps, while most areas have minimal accumulation. Makes you wonder what 3 degrees colder would have produced this morning

36° and plain rain here now. Interior sections of the Northeast are doing well with this one.

I would still rather take my chances with a strong HP block that might shred the system as opposed to an amplified low that might move north of NYC (like the last Icon model showed). I’ll take my chances with shredders like last winter because it’s too cold as opposed to 2023 or 2024 winters where it was too warm and we got rain from almost every system

how bad is the FV3 Hi-Res? shows some promise here for christmas eve and maybe on Christmas Day for some scattered snow showers along East coastal mass

Just NW of Middletown. When I looked out at 830 it was vomiting snow ! That is next step in intensity after "puking" snow.
