  9. Nearly 5" out there... wind starting to kick up a bit. Not as heavy ATM but that band coming in looks pretty gnarly.
  10. Skied today at Mt. Baldy, CA. They benefitted from the snow that hit the Sierra hard (40-50” in the San Gabriel Mtns above 4500’, but fell on bare ground). This weekend was probably the only chance I will have to ski there this season as I have other ski plans next weekend and it looks like it’ll be burnt out after that. It was my first time there-great terrain, terrible mountain ops, and an eclectic crowd. .. Like a combination of Mad River Glen and Blue Hills… LOL. One interesting tidbit is that it is the only mountain on the west coast of the Lower 48 that you can see the Pacific from… When researching the question, I thought you could also see it from Hurricane Ridge, WA, but supposedly not from the ski trails.
