    8 years old vacation in NH Maine went up the COG 70 degrees by the time we got up it was 32 snowing. They turned us us around and closed top. We were camping in a remote cabin and absolutely froze our balls off.

    Its still a unique NINO and will probably carry its own anologs into winter.The DMI or Indian ocean diphole if you wanna call it doesnt even rank this around a top ten event per JMA Mean while a couple its ensemble members seems to join camp show now this might be the strongest ever,duuno This seemingly shows no break down into the Walker Circulation with the trades coming off Africa and not South America,in which the few few days should probably kick off the Sahara dust. Gernerally the IOD falls into fall just as well does the PDO but the PDO can fluctuate into winter

    12Z UKMET doesn’t quite designate this as a TD but it does have 25 knot winds just offshore LA Mon night and landfall Tue AM near TX/LA border. Lowest SLP only gets down to 1011 mb fwiw.

    Yes, I understand. But I found it interesting because Enso 4 anomalies and SST are both cooling, Enso 3 and 3.4 anomalies and SST are both warming, while 4 temps are cooling while anomalies are warming.

    That month was really sunny as we'll I think. Here is a chart of my solar powering my heat pumps and entire house and sending power out to the grid. I think it was on the same day as the other picture I just posted. My solar inverter is rated for 5kw and was actually clipping/reducing power to the 5kw limit.

    I think the last legit subzero cold shot here was back in Feb 23. I think it dropped to -5 here. I have been using heat pumps since 2016 and went out and took this infrared picture of my heat pump still pulling heat out of the air at -5 with a -20.5 discharge temperature. All the red on my foundation and ground is heat leaking out of my house.

    Hopefully a big ole heat dome sits over the lakes getting LAKE ONTARIO water nice and warm. I want that thing putting out dangerously intense snow bands by Dec 1 right over Barnes Corner. I've never rooted for a warm fall in my life until now lol
