If we had anything that resembled an offensive line, Lamar would probably never have gotten hurt. Elite QB's in the past always had walls in front of them to help protect the primary asset. We haven't done that expect for 2019, and even then, we had a glaring hole at LG which we haven't filled since Ben Grubbs departure.

THANK you. I am so tired of people blaming Lamar for being hurt when almost every time the dang OL did it! Please somebody explain to me how this is on him, smh

Lamar has grown into a VERY good pocket passer. He can now go several games without running too much and still win. Even 3-4 year from now he will likely maintain enough mobility to still present some kind of a threat even if not elite. And certainly more than good enough to win a SB. His vision, the way he sees the field at an elite level, runs the offense at an elite level...he will still be good for at lest 3-4 years of a 5 year contract, imo

But he doesnt just stand in the pocket and get the ball out quick a lot of the time- he moves around and buys time for receivers to get open, which is a skill, but puts him at risk of injury at times. That's how his ankle injury happened- sometimes he holds the ball too long trying to make a downfield throw, when he should run it for a few yards or throw it away.

He got hurt behind a bad OL now twice this year. Both contact injuries on passing plays. How is that his fault? In fact, first two injuries of his career? Contact injuries on passing plays.

So like...you can't have an awful line then when the QB gets hurt as a direct result of it say it's him, lol

The last two years he’s missed multiple games. Not saying it’s always his fault but he hasn’t been healthy.

No one is blaming him ffs. You so often miss the point. He was offered a contract that would make him the highest paid QB in the game before the season, and he decided to wait. That decision could work against him if the ravens end up 7-10.

I agree with you, but I also want to acknowledge that the Oline should be able to hold up for more than 2.5 seconds. We are getting beat regularly in quicker time than that and it's a detriment to the offense. When we give time, we shred teams, but we straight up are awful and need a complete overhaul, which is only one of the areas that need an overhaul. I want to keep Lamar, but it's going to be tough when so much else needs fixing. I hope he stays. He's easily a top 3 QB when healthy. Issue is, he hasn't been lately. But, if he goes to a team with a good Oline, he'll absolutely win a Super Bowl. I have zero doubts.

From being hit in the pocket. He's def more fragile than other QB's, no denying, but most of the issues are because the line breaks down and allows for the potential. It's been an issue for years.

Only one (hamstring) was his fault. But the bruise was once again him getting pummeled. Why not fix the thing that got your QB hurt in the first place...instead of trading away your frickin' franchise QB?

Not football related, but I've been working on an agentic AI project that answers natural language questions about weather observations, sometimes using plots. I'm also building an MCP server for it.

Anyway, it showed me this one chart. Used to be that Dulles was nearly 2 degrees cooler for the daily highs than DCA, now the difference is only less than a degree.

LOL they wont trade him. He has a year left on his contract. He either signs with the ravens, or hits FA. Come on dude. Pay attention.

You the one talking about him not being here not me. It sounded like you were talking about next year instead of the year after. Either way I still believe he's gonna be extended, imo You can't rebuild with a cap hit like that.

Can't get mad at Fagnano struggling in his first regular season action behind such a horrid offensive line that already allowed for the two QBs higher up on the depth chart to get pummeled. Also Malaki Starks has to be one of the biggest first round DB busts in history, dude got absolutely eviscerated on a route by the friggin TE

DeCosta needs to be held accountable for this OL. Inexcusable, despite the injuries at center. None of those guys were the answer after Linderbaum walked. EDC failed to draft / build even a mediocre line. The result has been catastrophic.

Decent chance we won't see Lamar on the field again this season. I guess there are a few young players that will get a shot now. Adam Randall being one- the owner's pick. Henry isnt what he once was esp behind this OL. The young TEs need more playing time. Andrews looks pretty bad. Another EDC decision that doesnt look good.
