Didn't make it close to upper 70's predicted for today. 66 seems to be the max. A dark, gray, dreary "summer is over" kind of day.

This pattern is extremely wet.  It has rained six of the last seven days, with almost no sun in that period.  I got another 0.81" this morning, with widespread 1-3" north and east of me.  More heavy rain is expected tonight across the area as a disturbance rides up along the front.

Fast moving elevated showers have added another half inch or so since this morning.  Could get trained on later on depending on where it sets up.

My area got clobbered overnight.  I got 2.75" and my part of the city was the driest.  The north side got 3-4+".  My September total is now close to 9", with 7" of that falling in the last five days.  Another 0.45" will make this the wettest September in the last 20 years.

A little over 4.5" since yesterday here.  Up to 7.41" for Sep.  Almost 7 inches more than Sep 2025 lol.

76 yesterday, 76 so far today.not much rain the last couple days although a line of light rain is about to come through. Looking forward to highs in the 60s.

Been super dry locally. I mean the rain around here has been 10 miles north or south. Which is fine, we received nearly a summers worth during the flooding rains a month ago. Grounds back to dry lake bed cracking around here lol.

Just got back from Fl in time for our first Fall like week it looks like. Thats fine with me. I'm ready for some sub 60/50 dews for awhile. Even up here, Aug and most of Sept was just humid as hell. El Nino Humidifier been running full tilt this summer. One of the muggiest in recent memory here. I expect it down there. But I'm 1/2 mile from the ocean down there so usually a nice breeze. I'm in the ocean when I'm not helping my mother anyway so it really doesn't bother me. Pretty cool this trip with a lot of low to mid 80's. But also a lot of Florida Woosh Bangs. Nothing louder than Florida Hammer lightning lol. Munched down a 35lb Cobia I caught surf fishing, my favorite ocean fish to eat!

Definitely will be that kind of a week with the cutoff low impacting the area a good part of this week as the Omega Block forms by the end of the week according to DT. Fall begins Tuesday night, and it will certainly feel like it!

Upper 20's - 30's well inland with 40's nearer the Lake. Frost adv this morning up N. 60's/40's continue on an E wind off the Lake here in town.

38 overnight with considerable clouds.  Eagle Mine on the Yellow Dog was 25, Baraga Plains 26. Mid 50's will be the rule in N Marquette County today.  Upper 60's for highs should return by the weekend. 

Locally, leaves are 40-50% color.  Was in Marquette over the weekend and color was for the most part 10-15%.  Peak in the higher terrain areas should be within 7-10 days.  Comparing the change with pics from last September, we're a little behind, even with the dryness.

Other than the crops in the fields turning yellow it still looks like summer here.  Lush green with no color change yet in the trees.

Serious chill off the lake today. Not seeing 70° until the weekend is nearly unfathomable after how warm it has been this September. On the 15th we were a touch below 90° and most days have been above 80°, quite a shock to the system

Have had steady heavy drizzle most of the day and has added an additional 0.11" so far. Feels like a west coast forest outside today.  All that's missing are some 300ft redwoods.

It's amazing how much different our precip can be for being only 45 miles apart.  Especially since there's basically no elevation difference, a nearby Great Lake, or other influences.  I've had 5.12" in the past six days and you are super dry.
