Still holding strong.  The norther lobe of the cell conglomeration is dying in Wake County.

Storms fired early today around 11 30 AM, picked up 1.02'' from a localized cell.

Gets me over 6'' for the month.

Shield mostly held but had a couple hours of light rain. 0.15” brings MTD to 1.51”

Picked up 1.3 inches really fast.

1. Based on Corcorahs and radar yesterday, I roughly estimate 0.1” fell at my home yesterday (8/27) thus bringing my location at 7.35” mtd through 8/27.

2. More rain has fallen and is still falling there today. I’ll have to roughly estimate later how much for 8/28. As of now the total for today doesn’t appear to be all that much although I’m guessing 0.25” at the very least.
