50 degrees, nice morning

Saw a deer, it was hustling through the backyard.
Cardinal and hummingbirds at the feeders this morning.

KEY MESSAGE 2: Widespread rain on Monday

A wet start to the work week with widespread rain expected on
Monday. The heaviest rainfall is most likely between 2AM and
8PM with totals in the 0.75-1.50" range. Current probs off the
latest ensembles and National Blend indicate 50-80% probs for
>1" across most of CPA. Flooding risk is marginal to low with
greatest risk likely confined to urban areas where locally heavy
or repeat downpours could cause some isolated runoff issues.
Rain tapers off/ends Monday night with dry weather returning on
Tuesday.

Plenty of 50's and even 40's this morning with our typical cold valley location Warwick Twp reaching 49.8 degrees. To contrast that just a couple miles south of there but a few hundred feet higher in East Nantmeal Twp. we only reached 59.9 (over 10 degrees warmer). Great weather continues today and tomorrow with highs close to normal around 80 degrees. It still looks like Monday will bring some beneficial rains to the area with at least an inch of rain for many spots still likely. We turn drier and cooler for the rest of the work week with highs a couple of degrees below normal.

What a beautiful day today, and I don't feel well enough to enjoy it. I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and ate something at dinner out with my grandson and his girlfriend last night that I suppose I shouldn't have.

It was a great time, but boy am I paying the price.

Next week the amount of daylight starts to dwindle. The countdown to winter commences!

The downside appears that those triggers are going to be all the things I like. Beef, sausage, spicy foods, etc.

I’ve been dealing with this for around 30 years.  Under control with medication and no diet restrictions, although I pay for ice cream if too much.  Need any info, DM me.

Thanks. I'm new to this as I was just diagnosed a week and a half ago. I guess when I have my follow up appointment, medication suggestions and diet will be discussed.

There are much better options now than when I got diagnosed, so hopefully they give you some good options, every case seems to be different and you'll learn to know what works and what doesn't.  Take care and good luck!

Get a second and third opinion, especially if it doesn't run in the family. After nearly 2 years of extreme pain  discomfort and weight loss, I too was diagnosed with severe Crohn's disease in 2002 . I was scheduled to get part of my intestines removed, but  I was so fearful of the surgery that I didn't follow through. Fast forward a few months later, and I actually started to improve. I decided to see another gastroentinologist and they diagnosed me with chronic gastroparesis and told me that was probably the best that I was ever going to get. Fast forward a few months later and I was fully recovered, and I haven't had any problems since. I've shared this experience with several people over the years. Apparently Gastroenterologists misdiagnose a lot.

Extremely light, it only lasted a couple minutes . Just heard my first two rumbles of thunder of the day, something off to my northwest right now.

It’s dying too unfortunately (though we expected no precip today so can’t be too sad I guess)
