There's got to be prolific flash flooding ongoing right now in S Jersey and DE. Storms training over the same area, already 5" in spots on radar. Going to be a long afternoon down there. We had just shy of an inch back at home in Levittown(.9") through 2 different storms. Here in Trenton, we had several periods of heavy showers but nothing too long lasting.

The rain has finally almost stopped after more than 3.5 hours of it.  4.53" over that time.  Over 8 inches for the month after 8.4" for July.   It took til the end of August but that was the best storm of the year.  Mainly for the rain and lightning (and for almost getting struck by it lol).

10 hours ago, The Iceman said:

3.25” storm total assuming no more. Round 2 this evening was pretty intense lots of street flooding around the area during the height of it. 11.60” in August now

Ivyland received 5.25" of rain in under 2 hours. The flooding around here was the worst ive seen since living here. Most branches of the Neshaminy well over their banks. Almshouse rd, Bristol rd, and Mearns roads among the worst in the area.

Now we just need the cold :devilsmiley:

A nice weekend ahead with increasing sun today and continued below normal temperatures through the weekend. We warm to above normal highs in the mid to upper 80's by Monday lasting through Wednesday we then fall back to a bit closer to normal by the end of next week. Next rain chances look to be toward Tuesday.
