It's over north of the turnpike another bust

 The Tornado Watch should be cancelled. Continued widespread cloud cover and persistent outflow boundaries have stabilized the atmosphere, effectively eliminating any meaningful opportunity for convective redevelopment and significantly reducing the tornado threat. simply the latest bust as Red sky has stated.  The only thing that will killl this nuisnace pattern is a tropical event or a cold front stalled with redevleoping shortwaves on the front. Cannot remeber the last time I saw this scenario.

Getting some okay rain.  Other than that, not much.  The two shelf clouds I captured were misleading.  lol.  Up to 0.42" .  No wind, minimal lightning.  It's been a few years since I've gotten a storm with some proper lightning.

Hyped severe weather underdelivers like 99% of the time in this area. Our best severe events are always like a random marginal or slight risk that over performs.

I was out doing some yard work around 3 pm and it looked like there was wild fire smoke blocking out the sun again right before the line of thunderstorms came in from the west and northwest down here in Media Delaware County.  We didn't get much here winds gusting maybe 25 mph a few elevated flashes of lighting and 0.45" of rain.  We are adding to the bucket a bit more as things have stalled out to our south and rain is running east over top currently.

Time lapse of couple shelf clouds from yesterday.  Not much happened, otherwise.  Ended up with 0.63" of rain.

Well I finished up with a whopping 0.09" while watching the training sefere slobg the PA/ND/DE border. high was 86/low 71.

KYW was talking about the waterspouts becoming landspouts down at Cape May Point. Area will be surveyed today.

Currently overcast and 71 with dp 70.

KYW was talking about the waterspouts becoming landspouts down at Cape May Point. Area will be surveyed today.

Currently overcast and 71 with dp 70.

They said it's gonna be virtual.  I saw a video of when it came onshore.  It looked very weak by that point.

if you dont mind me asking what camera do you use? I was planning to get the reolink Duo 3 so I can set up my own time lapse.
